UNH High-Powered Rocketry

Since 2017, UNH SEDS has worked to design, manufacture, and validate our own custom hybrid rocket engine.

This project, currently known as Epoch, runs on a mixture of nitrous oxide and paraffin wax which we plan to use in the 2024 FAR-OUT Hybrid & Liquid Competition.

Project Europa

The current model of the engine has had several successful static fires in order to test its thrust, efficiency, and more. We are actively working towards incrementally redesigning the engine to achieve our expected thrust requirements, as well as developing a custom oxidizer tank.
